Member Loan Discounts
Members can qualify for rate discounts up to a full 1.00% off their loan rates with a combination of the following:
Direct deposit to an SCCU checking account - 0.25%
20% down payment - 0.25%
Prior vehicle loan at SCCU - 0.25%
Existing loand and/or deposit relationship at SCCU greater than $15,000 (not including new loan) - 0.25%
Purchase new or used vehicle through Auto Advisors - 0.25%.
Purchase of a Drive Green hybrid vehicle - 0.25%
Mechanical Repair Coverage (MRC)
Sarasota Coastal offers a low-cost insurance program which protects the member from expensive auto repairs. MRC provides the same protection as the extended warranties offered by auto dealers, and saves you up to 50%.
Guaranteed Auto Protection (GAP Insurance)
Guaranteed Auto Protection is a Loan/Lease Balance deficiency (GAP) Waiver designed to eliminate your unpaid net loan/lease balance in the event your vehicle is stolen or damaged beyond repair. The GAP Waiver eliminates "out-of-pocket" expenses for remaining loan/lease balance after loss settlement; helps protect your credit rating; and helps you to purchase a replacement vehicle.
Pre-Approvals of New and Pre-Owned Vehicle Loans
Fill out an application before you start shopping for your vehicle. Once it’s approved, you may select a vehicle at your leisure. A pre-approved vehicle loan is valid for 30 days. Pre-approved financing will give members an advantage when bargaining for the price of the vehicle.
